This is such a cool place. It's a good thing that someone has the vision and initiative to re-purpose thus old property and save it from blight and destruction. This place has been beautifully redone and is well-appointed! It was very quiet the night we were here. There were snacks and candy available while we settled in for the football game in our room. Our team lost, but we were the winners for picking the Bischoff Inn for our stay. Very comfortable bed, good working heat and the shower was really nice with the rain fall shower head. Plenty of nice hot water! Very clean. A question for the innkeeper was promptly answered. We would definitely book here again!
We loved our stay at the Bischoff Inn! From the unique and historic interior to the comfortable rooms, we will definitely be back and recommend to any visiting PA. The location is perfectly positioned in town and is within close proximity to Jim Thorpe! We had a wonderful stay, and it is evident the Inn is both thoughtfully curated and designed.
We loved our stay and would definitely go back. The Inn was very well appointed, great common area with coffee and tea, sink, micro and fridge. Very clean and spacious bathrooms with toiletries. A bit away from town in a neighborhood, but parking was easy and street was quiet.
This inn was super cute! The common area had nice space and decor and the added touches of tea, coffee and snacks were very nice. The unique rooms are tastefully decorated and I particularly enjoyed the book selection in the Conrad room. Everything was very clean and the provided toiletries were high end hotel quality just like the bedding. The location is definitely residential but quiet and quaint. We didn’t have time to check out any local eateries or pubs but the recommendation book in the room had plenty of good information about where to go. If visiting Jim Thorpe this inn is about a 15 minute drive but better parking and amenities.
The Bischoff Inn is one of the nicest hotel experiences I've ever had. From the booking process, to the check in, to the parking right out front, to the cute artsy historic vibe, to the silence that comes with it only being 5 rooms, it has been enjoyable all the way through. I chose to stay here because I was up in the area to do other things and found this place; in the future I think it'll be the reverse, I'd come up here for the Bischoff and find things to do while I'm here. Thank you for an amazing stay!
I stayed at the Bischoff Inn as part of their "Micro-Residency" initiative and had an incredible experience. I stayed in the Bischoff Suite, which provided ample room and amenities for my downtime. The hotel is well situated if you're looking to explore the area, and it's very close to the main streets in Tamaqua if you want to go out to eat or shop. I think the Inn is run very thoughtfully, and the design of the space is top-notch. A cut above other places I've stayed in Pennsylvania. If you're interested in the residency, I recommend it. If you're visiting the area or passing through and need a place to stay, definitely go for it. Perfect if you're checking out Jim Thorpe or heading to the Mahoning Drive-In. I look forward to returning in the future.
Staying here was such a lovely experience. We stayed in the junior suite, which was spacious, beautifully designed, and full of thoughtful details. We loved the exposed brick walls, the antique bed, and the art that gave the room so much character. The amenities in the lobby were fantastic, with all the little perks (snacks great varieties of teas) that made us feel truly cared for, and the detailed local guide was such a nice touch. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable stay. Do not hesitate to book.
We thought The Bischoff Inn was absolutely lovely! The original wood floors and exposed brick walls give it such charm and a true sense of history. The rooms are cozy and beautifully decorated with local art. A perfect mix of old and new. We had the good fortune to meet the owner and the inn keeper, both of whom were warm and friendly and shared many suggestions for things to do and places to eat.
